Get on your pony and ride.

Yesterday I dusted off my bicycle and planned a joy ride. I made it from my home to Cook's Corner, and back again. It was so very sweet to make it, and I brought delicious grapes with me. I took La Paz down to Muirlands and after a short ride on Muirlands met up with Aliso Creek Trail. It is a nice paved bikeway that stretches over 12 miles of familiar areas, from Aliso wilderness park, all the way to cook's corner. I had not been on a real bicycle in a long time due to my arms being hurt all the damn time. I had been using the stationary for a while, so I was ready to roll. It really makes a huge difference to get out and see the ground move around you... To be in one place, and then another so quickly using only the power of my legs and a simple machine. I brought a camera, but took only one photograph which is included in this post. Today I am sore, but not in my legs... just my butt. I don't understand how riders use those tiny seats! Mine is a bit larger, and I have used duct tape to attach a few dish towels as padding, but it still kills after the first ride. I can ride every day once I get used to it, but I can't imagine getting used to a hard seat.

I will now conclude this post, since I have nothing very interesting to say.
